EMPLOYEE DEVELOPMENT REIMBURSEMENT AND PAYBACK AGREEMENT Effective August 15, 2001 |

This agreement is made and entered into by and between Florence Darlington Technical College (hereafter referred to as the College) and _______________________, a full-time employee of the College (hereafter referred to as the Employee). |

The College agrees to provide reimbursement for tuition, fees, and books for approved courses in accordance with Employee Development Policy Number 31-17. The success criteria for reimbursement for undergraduate courses is a grade of "C" or better; for graduate courses, a grade of "B" or better. |

The name of the approved course is: ______________________________________. The course will be taken at __________________________________College/University, which is an accredited institution. |

If the funded employee voluntarily terminates employment (other than retirement) with the College, the employee agrees, by signature below, to payback the college according to the following reimbursement and payback formula: |

Funded employee further agrees, by signature below, to allow FDTC to withhold monies owed from their final paycheck. In the event that the employee's final payroll check is insufficient to cover payment of monies owed, employee agrees to payback the balance owed within thirty (30) days of their termination date. |

PURSUANT TO SECTION 41-1-110 OF THE CODE OF LAWS OF SC, AS AMENDED, THE LANGUAGE USED IN THIS DOCUMENT DOES NOT CREATE AN EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT BETWEEN THE EMPLOYEE AND THE COLLEGE. |
